Menopause, thou art a heartless bitch June 19, 2008

There’s this person I knew, and he’s the type to tell (well, sort of) everything to his parents, including his dreams and aspirations, his fears and hopes (and no, I didn’t just use a thesaurus. see? “fear” is there. and that’s not just a lame excuse, grumpy). But you see, of late, he’s unable to because of this natural phenomenon happening to his parents: old age. They’re not really that old, but… things happen. Worse, when he tries to tell them stuff that he’s pondering on, one doesn’t want to hear of it, and the other, well, makes his confidence plummet to a negative high (or low). Another friend told him tho, that this is the stage where whatever they say should remain in-one-ear-out-the-other. But can you really do that with your parents?
